‘COLOURED: Is It Just Playing with Colour?’

This Verkuno exhibition opens on

Friday, September 4 at 8:00 PM.

We may not always be aware of it, but colour plays an important role in our lives. It evokes emotions and often influences us on an unconscious level. With this exhibition, Verkuno explores the many meanings and possibilities of colour by inviting eleven artists from across the Netherlands to reflect on this theme in their own unique way.

Participating artists:

Jelly van den Bosch, Ammie Elling, René Heeres, Rudolf Holleman, Marcia Krijgsman, Diana Large, Joukje Pees, Frits Stauthamer, Mathilde Vermeulen, Margreet de Vries and Aly van der Woude.

The exhibition will be on view until September 27, 2026.
