About this activity.

Sanne Boekel is an illustrator, cartoonist and screen printer. In 2018 she graduated from Academie Minerva and won the Minerva Designprijs with her visual essay on modern activism and moral crusaders.

Her latest project BENDE is a series of screen prints from an ongoing research into the well-being of millennials. In this series of noisy still lifes, Sanne portrays situations in which she cannot manage it herself. She breaks through her own shame by capturing the moments in colorful screen prints.

Sanne Boekel's work is on display and for sale at DAD DesignStories, a shop and exhibition space for Dutch Art & Design in Groningen.
