About this activity.

The charm of woodcuts lies in their authentic appearance. The texture of the wood, combined with the manual printing technique, gives each print a unique character! Our guest artists, Tim Blaauw, Eline Brontsema, Siemen Dijkstra, Grietje Postma, and Marjolein Terwindt, each bring a contemporary twist to this craft in their own unique way. In addition to the varied selection of woodcuts, paintings by the board members of the City Gallery will also be on display: Annemarie de Groot, Magna Postma, Roelie Douw, Marein Konijn, Peter Durieux, and Jannes Koetsier.

You are cordially invited to the festive opening on Sunday afternoon, January 28th, at 4:00 PM. Pieter Jonker, the driving force behind the 'Nobilis' foundation, the center for print art in Fochteloo, will deliver the opening speech.
