About this activity.

HAVO and VWO students from the Aletta Jacobs College in Hoogezand are showcasing their work in Kunstruimte De Smederij. They give their interpretation of the theme 'Art & Life'.

Over the past year, the students have been exploring themselves and the world around them: What does art mean in everyday life? And how do you capture life in art?

Their ideas grew, changed, and eventually led to a piece of work to be assessed. Their art teachters are Barbara Janssens and Geert Hoetink.
In this exhibition at Kunstruimte De Smederij, you can also see work the students created throughout the year. This shows the entire process; from experimenting, trying, starting over, and persevering to the final result.

Kunstruimte De Smederij is een sfeervolle locatie aan de rand van Sappemeer.
Er vinden maandelijks wisselende exposities plaats.
Ook zijn er regelmatig creatieve workshops en zijn er mogelijkheden voor lezingen, voorstellingen en vergaderen.
