In the exhibition A spider named Feather has a lot to say but has no ears, Bernice Nauta faces her doubts and fears. The fear of the canvas and of speaking out. During her search for a way out of these feelings, she came up with the idea of stepping into the shoes of one of her fears; that of the spider. The drawings, paintings, texts and installations in the exhibition are the result of the internal dialogue that arose during this metamorphosis.

Initiatiefnemers Marinus Augustijn en Agnes Scholte organiseren elk jaar 5 solo-exposities. Liefde en enthousiasme voor het werk vormen de belangrijkste selectiecriteria. Elke expositie wordt begeleid door een poster ontworpen en uitgevoerd door Hansje van Halem of Michiel Schuurman. De kunstruimte is gevestigd in het centrum van Groningen in een mooie, stille ruimte aan de achterzijde van een oud ijspakhuis.
