A Rite for Ruins - Publik Universal Frxnd

About this activity.

A new musical performance by artist Publik Universal Frxnd, composed in collaboration with Janne Kosmos and Silva Westera, in which contemporary organ music, cello, singing and sculpture come together. It reflects on how we experience grief and memory in turbulent times of societal decline.

By interweaving different sensory experiences in the church, the work contributes to an appreciation of both the historical church organ and the building's architecture. The artists were inspired by a wide range of musical techniques and traditions. The result is a piece that reflects on loss. Not just as an end, but also as a beginning: of memories, connection, comfort and hope.

The performance is in English, but translation is available. A free contribution is possible during the evening.
