About this activity.

During Open Monument Day, we are organizing a guided tour through Groningen's city center on Saturday, September 12th, at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

During a 1.5-hour guided tour, an experienced guide from Kunstpunt Groningen takes the group on a tour of well-known and lesser-known works of art in the city, viewed through the theme of Resilient Heritage. Along the way, the tour will explore how these artworks have adapted to changing times, functions and circumstances. This provides an in-depth perspective on how heritage not only reflects the past, but also evolves alongside the city’s present and future.

Kunstpunt Groningen (formerly CBK) is the hub for visual arts. We lend works of art, supervise art assignments in public spaces and at companies, develop educational projects for schools and organize exhibitions and activities.
