A unique opportunity: step inside Tschumi Pavilion during ‘Tschumi Inside’

This summer, the Tschumi Pavilion is returning to its roots. The tilted glass greenhouse on Hereplein in Groningen opened in 1990 as a video gallery, and it will resume that role from 19 August: until 26 September, Susanna Inglada, Serge Onnen, Antonia Rehnen, Robbie Cornelissen and Fynn van der Ziel will be exhibiting their video art there. What makes this particularly special is that, for the duration of the exhibition, visitors will, as a one-off exception, also be allowed inside the pavilion. Admission is free.

The selection of works showcases a range of animation art, with the common thread being that all the videos are characterised by the intensive process of their creation. The craftsmanship required to make these films is evident, as are the analogue techniques employed in their production.

During the run of Tschumi Inside, from 20 August to 26 September 2026, visitors can enter the Tschumi Pavilion every Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Admission is free. The Tschumi Pavilion will also be open during Museum Night on Saturday 19 September 2026
