Phebe Bakker (graduated from Academie Minerva Groningen in 2021) is a graphic designer who works with various digital and analogue techniques to create images that connect with a wide range of subjects.

In commissioned work, she values collaboration and allows the process to guide her. Through research and experimentation, she develops images and techniques that fit the subject. Her autonomous work is a translation of personal experiences, fascinations, and insights, which she transforms into her own visual language.

Within her practice, she uses techniques such as risograph printing and screen printing, among others. She also enjoys working with digital media, where there is room for interaction and the exploration of new possibilities. She believes it is important that her work evokes a direct response and invites the viewer to experience it in an intuitive way.
