Drents Museum
3 April 2026 to 20 September 2026

About this activity.

The Drents Museum, together with 23 Dutch museums, presents a tribute to Amrita Sher-Gil (1913–1941), an icon of modern art in India. Four themes from Sher-Gil’s life and work take center stage: identity, freedom, connection, and love.

Discover more than 50 masterpieces that have never been shown together before, including works by Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Dumas, Toorop, Corbijn, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh.

Ode to Amrita Sher-Gil – Masterpieces from Dutch Museums is on view for a limited time. Don’t miss it!
