Corine Hörmann (Groningen, NL) is a photographer who slows down the way we see to reveal what often goes unnoticed.

She works with a self-built pinhole camera, using long exposure times ranging from minutes to days to capture the movement of light and time. Her images reveal traces that usually escape the eye, such as the path of the sun and shifting light.

Her analogue approach embraces chance and imperfection as integral parts of the photographic process. Fleeting elements, like reflections or footprints, disappear but leave their marks behind as quiet witnesses of time.

Drawn to the Wadden Sea region, she uses the landscape’s continuous transformations as a metaphor for human experience. Her work exists at the intersection of time, memory, and perception, inviting a slower and more attentive way of looking.

She graduated from Academie Minerva.
