Collages and drawings by Rob Strick and you!

Are you a drawing professional or a first timer? Everyone is welcome to join our drawings sessions. We have some material you can use, but also bring your favourite tools (pens, pencils, markers, crayons, brushes…) and join! For this special edition, bring collage materials like magazines, photo material, books as well. Don’t feel like making anything? You can also just come by to visit the exhibition. Every edition we invite a guest artist who can inspire us with a display of their work. For this edition, we’ve invited Rob Strick.

Rob Strick is a visual artist living and working in Groningen. In his drawings, he combines various elements inspired by everyday life. They go together very well, or repel each other. This creates a surrealistic world with a story. He not only makes drawings but also collages or more 3D works with assemblages of objets trouvés. For this collage edition of Drink & Draw, he wants to show more of the possibilities of collages.

During this edition of Drink & Draw you can listen (and draw) to music that is selected by musician Janneke de Boer (Kilo+++, co-organiser of T.H.O.P).
