Jaime González Palencia
Jaime González Palencia Mallorca 1997 is a visual artist and figurative painter trained at the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen. His practice is centered on painting, expanded through graphic design, digital photography and video.
His work focuses on the tension between technical vision and manual execution, using images drawn from digital archives and personal memory. Through the montage of figures and bodies, he explores how images shift and generate open, non linear narratives.
He has exhibited at spaces such as Fran Reus, Lapislázuli Gallery and Noord Gallerie, and at fairs including Supermarket Art Fair and FARRA. Recently, he held the solo exhibition And other rusty shines at De Tunnel Utrecht, participated in the Ongekend Young Masters auction with Kers Gallery and Adam Amsterdam Auctions, and was awarded the Pilar Juncosa grants from the Fundació Miró for a residency at the Slade School of London.
