In the seventh edition of The Wall, artist Jens Buis takes on the challenge of experimenting with art in public space. He explores how to create a setting in which the viewer can experience a sense of space and interconnectedness.
From 15 September to 25 October, Jens will be working on his research in the hall of Kunstpunt, with its 9-meter-high, 15-meter-wide white wall and triangular floor. Visitors are welcome to follow the process from Wednesday to Saturday between 12:00 and 17:00
In the Netherlands, the study program in monumental art is no longer offered. With The Wall, Kunstpunt responds to this gap. The project offers artists the opportunity to research and develop their ideas in a large, monumental space. Twice a year, one artist is selected to carry out a research plan, guided by a coach.
