Morgan Ton (2000, NL) is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Groningen, The Netherlands.   

In 2021, she graduated from the Minerva Academy by making her work; 'Who's on my Cheek?', a filminstallation in which she explored the (slightly bizarre) reïncarnation superstitions relating to the big birthmark on her face. 

With a multidisciplinairy approach to her ideas, Morgan explores visual narratives that overlap reality and imagination. Equally inspired by the mundane and the existensial, she conducts playful visual researches to reflect on the curiosities and questions that arise with her existence. Often taking parts of herself or her surroundings as her subject in films, paintings, objects and/or installations.
