Open Day Travertijnstraat 6 and 12, Vinkhuizen

On June 1st from noon to 5 p.m. creative hubs Travertijnstraat 6 and 12 in Vinkhuizen open their doors to the public! This Open Day is a unique opportunity to see all that is happening in these former school buildings.

Program:

  • Open studios: visit the places where local artists and creative makers produce their work.
  • Workshops: Join one of several workshops and learn something new. 
  • Sales of products: buy unique handmade products directly from the makers and get your knives sharpened at Gered Gereedschap.
  • Live music: Enjoy shows of musicians who work in the building. 
  • Pancakes: Foodtruck Heeey Pannekûk! bakes really yummy pancakes!
  • Take a look in the mosque: join a guided tour in both buildings and take a look in the Al-Rahma Mosque.
