On Friday evening, May 30, the richness of Groningen literature will be celebrated during the Beste Groninger Boekenfeest (Best Groningen Book Festival) at Forum Groningen.
Program
During this festive literary evening, the winners of the Best Groningen Book 2025 (in the categories of fiction and non-fiction) as well as the Best Groningen Book Club Award will be announced. This celebration is not just for the nominees and their guests, but for anyone who loves good books.
- There will be bubbles and snacks
- Bookstore Van der Velde will be present to sell the nominated books, and of course, you can get them signed on the spot by the attending authors.*
Guardians of Grunn
A special part of the evening is the presentation of the very first copy of the graphic novel Guardians of Grunn — a work created under the direction of curator Nathalie Hartjes and Kunstpunt. The piece is a beautiful tribute to our city and connects literature to other art forms.
Practical information
The event takes place in the Rabo Studio of Forum Groningen. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the festivities will last until approximately 11:00 PM.
