About this activity.
On Thursday, March 13 at eight o'clock in the evening you are welcome at Y2 Centre at the performance of accordionist Yegor Zabelov. We use the entrance on the Poelestraat, up the stairs between nr14 and nr16. The doors open at half past eight in the evening.

Accordionist Zabelov “exploits the possibilities of the instrument (...), often with reaching the limits. In his hands, the accordion becomes a tool for creating mystical experiences, and performances take the form of a musical ritual. (...) The musician is a frequent guest at European festivals, [including EuroSonic NoorderSlag 2019].”

“Zabelov's music can be described as an experimental mix of accordion, avant-garde, jazz and neo-classical sounds. (...) Zabelov (...) finds influences (...) in minimalist classics: Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Michael Nyman and also Arvo Pärt, Finnish experimental accordionist Kimmo Pohjonen and jazz trio Esbjörn Svensson Trio.
