as you know, this spot is about sequence and the sequential.
besides, by now i should add randomness, recursiveness and repetition as well.
i hope you are not aware . . , but in the past i have been using only one underlaying grid (or matrix). therefore the dynamic self organizing repeat pattern(s) presented here last time, are neatly matching like a Matryoshka doll (or stacking doll). to understand the principle please check hyperlink or hyperlink.
in january 2025—while honouring the minimalist composer steve reich (1936/USA) hyperlink—i explored the possibility to combine three different grids in one piece.
this weeks kunst.picturewall is again featuring a pastiche of progress (a selection of four sequences).
next time i will showcase the blending of four subs (instead of 3) and possibly introduce another shape.
meanwhile, on linkedin hyperlink i am presenting one sequence of 8 enlarged gifs to emphasize the “rare” number 2400, which is divisible by 2, 3 and 5. sure your likes are always welcome.
to be continued . . .
