VRIJDAG students exhibit at the UMCG

About this activity.

In this presentation you will see work by VRIJDAG students from the Blueprinting course taught by artist-teacher Pol Taverne. Blueprinting, or cyanotype, is an old photographic technique in which you can easily and quickly make a photogram or print of a photograph. At VRIJDAG you will learn all the possibilities of the technique, from preparing paper through exposure to developing with water.

By rolling in different materials and print forms with colored printing ink and printing over the blueprint with an etching press, you can get the most beautiful combinations. It is not difficult and the results are often stunning!

VRIJDAG.
