Lecture biologist Tinde van Andel in Volkshortus Selwerd
About this activity.
On Sunday 9 July from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. biologist Tinde van Andel will be a guest at the Volkshortus. Tinde will talk about plants and how people use them, and she will talk about the plants in the Volkshortus. In addition, there is of course room for questions and tips!

Volkshortus Selwerd
Until October, Volkshortus Selwerd is located in the Selwerd district, a greenhouse and meeting place for local residents, conceived by artists Saskia Janssen and George Korsmit. The greenhouse was realized as part of the neighborhood renewal in Selwerd. A plant collection composed by local residents grows in the greenhouse, representing the residents and their diversity (80 nationalities). In the course of 2023, a portrait of the neighborhood will be created in the form of plants.

Kunstpunt Groningen.
Kunstpunt Groningen (voorheen CBK) is hét knooppunt voor beeldende kunst. Wij lenen kunstwerken uit, begeleiden kunstopdrachten in de openbare ruimte en bij bedrijven, ontwikkelen educatieprojecten voor scholen en organiseren tentoonstellingen en activiteiten.
Kunstpunt Groningen (formerly CBK) is the hub for visual arts. We lend works of art, supervise art assignments in public spaces and at companies, develop educational projects for schools and organize exhibitions and activities.
