DIHAN 23: A Gesture You Can't Help But Make

We would like to invite you for a performative walk through urban nature, where you'll be greeted by four performance acts, inspired by works of walking artist Hamish Fulton.

Together with the artists @susanne.luurs @lisarosaviolet @samapellarini and @lilydollner we will wander around at a 𝓢𝓮𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓽 𝓵𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 🌱

For this special edition of DIHAN, in collaboration with Block C & ARTisBook, we invited four artists to each select a work from the current exhibition "Printed Matter" at ARTisBook. The exhibition showcases works by Hamish Fulton and the acts we will see during the event, all relate to Fulton's works in different ways.

In-between the performances, we invite you to think, wander, and talk together.

The program is donation-based.

Antiquariaat Berger & De Vries stelt haar winkelruimte actief open voor kunstenaarsinitiatieven. We nodigen makers uit om gebruik te maken van de winkel als ruimte voor experiment, presentatie of performance. De winkel is geen white cube, maar een levendige, boekenrijke omgeving waarin kunst en publiek elkaar op een laagdrempelige manier kunnen ontmoeten. We denken graag mee, ook inhoudelijk.

​Antiquariaat Berger & De Vries actively opens its retail space to artist-led initiatives. We invite artists to use the shop as a space for experimentation, presentations, or performances. The shop isn't a white cube, but a vibrant, book-filled environment where art and the public can connect in an accessible way. We're happy to contribute ideas, including content-related ones.
