Pneumatic sponge ball accelerator

A 250 meters long, transparent system of pipes with at both ends two transparent containers. These are filled with 1000 black, foam rubber balls. Behind the glass was a red hand visible. When someone pressed this hand the balls were shot with a tremendous speed through the maze of pipes, from one to the another container. The displacement is caused by a powerful air flow generated by a pneumatic pump. The transport of all the balls took a few minutes to complete so that spectators had the opportunity to walk around the pavilion to observe the show from different angles.
