Choir Festival SingSing!

About this activity.

On Sunday 19 June, Koorplein Noord-Nederland and the KultuurLoket are organizing the SingSing! choir festival again. This year the festival will take place in Theater vanBeresteyn in Veendam. SingSing! is an inspiration and meeting festival for all choirs and individual singing enthusiasts in Groningen. The program starts at 10am and ends with a communal song at 4.30pm. Tickets (€ 8,-) can be bought at the door or online via vanberesteyn.nl/zingzing/.

A short impression of the program
Just like previous editions, there are again quite a few podium places for participating choirs. Fifteen choirs will perform in the VanBeresteyn Theater in Veendam. In addition, there are various workshops for choristers and the public, such as 'Singing in Colors', Groningen-language Gospel, Baltic choral music and singing technique. Have you always wanted to stand in front of a choir as a maestro? This is your chance! SingSing! offers any singing enthusiast, choir member or not, an inspiring experience.

VRIJDAG.

Iedereen kan meedoen aan kunst en cultuur. Dat is de missie van VRIJDAG, het huis van de amateurkunst voor Groningen. In de gemeente Groningen biedt VRIJDAG cursussen, lessen en workshops muziek, theater en beeldende kunst. Ook verzorgt VRIJDAG cultureel aanbod in de wijken en in het onderwijs. Via KultuurLoket adviseert en ondersteunt VRIJDAG amateurkunstenaars in de hele provincie Groningen en met POPgroningen stimuleert VRIJDAG popmuziek van Groningse bodem.
