Did you know that there are hundreds of artworks to be found in the streets of Groningen? From sculptures that have stood for generations to new works you may not have discovered yet. Together, they tell something about the city: about its places, people, history, and future.

During the Month of Street Art, we highlight ten artworks. They are in the running for the Street Art Award 2026. This year’s theme is representation. Do you recognize your story in the art around you? Which stories do you encounter? And, in your opinion, which story deserves more attention?
