About this artwork.
The piece of art situated in front of the entrance to the KPN Borg building consists of three concrete "signposts" and three Corten steel "gates". The whole thing looks as if it were put there by coincidence or at least placed thoughtlessly. Two of the three signposts do not point to the entrance, but to the wall and the pillars of the gate are at random angles. But it is this seemingly sloppy arrangement that gives the artwork its dynamism. Through movement of the viewer, the different parts enter into a spatial relationship with each other. Depending on the perspective, gates partly merge, one signpost hides behind the other or surprising through views emerge.
