Untitled (transparent structure - transparant bouwwerk)

About this artwork.
In the water there is a transparent structure reminiscent of a church. The metal mesh parts are built into each other as it were: a tower inside a tower in a cube inside of a cube. At the heart of the artwork is a core of glass plates. The mesh somewhat conceals the core, because from a certain perspective, the different layers act as a kind of curtain. But if, on the other hand, the sunlight falls through the mesh, the heart of the artwork is strongly expressed. The image plays a game with its location, with the light and with its viewer.
