About this artwork.

In front of the entrance of the cooperative Rabobank, a bronze statue of four seated female figures forming a circle has been placed on a marble plinth. Their arms seem to flow into each other and the lower bodies, which have no legs, meld together in a 'bowl'.

The architect offered the Rabobank this work of art when it opened the building in 1999. The sculpture, by Frans Kokshoorn, is a realisation of the cooperative's ideas. In a cooperative, individuals unite to achieve common goals.
