Meet Thomas van Essen. He is one of the 7 nominated artists for the Hendrik de Vriesstipendium 2022, an incentive prize from the municipality of Groningen for young talented artists.

In addition to Thomas van Essen, Meinte Dirksen, Maartje Terpstra and Renske Marike van Dijk have also been nominated in the Literature category. Marnix Sixma, Davey Smand and Katayoon Valamanesh have a chance in the Visual Arts category. In this video series, all nominees introduce themselves to you.
