Revisie Order/Disorder

Order/Disorder was created for the Amsterdam Light Festival in 2019. It consists of nine luminous gyroscopically suspended, rotating and luminous circles. The circles alternately give a chaotic and orderly image that represent how different we as people experience society. For the one clear, for the other an incomprehensible chaos. It was a successful project and the intention is that it will travel and can still be seen on many occasions. However, the costs of transport and construction are so high that this is financially difficult is.
Air has provided me with the means to investigate whether it is possible to construct Order/Disorder in a different way. Using lighter materials and other techniques makes it cheaper to transport and build, making it much easier and more lucrative to show in other locations. The study consisted of tests with inflation techniques. By designing the entire construction as an inflatable, you can reduce the weight and volume, and the construction time is many times shorter. The tests have not yet been completed, but the tests already show what is and is not possible.”

About project 'Lucht'

The corona measures have hit the art sector enormously. Exhibitions and art grants have been canceled or postponed. It is an uncertain time for many artists. With the Lucht project, Kunstpunt Groningen wants to support artists and designers from the municipality of Groningen. 87 Groningen artists have received a stipend with which they have created new work, including Lambert Kamps. With a billboard exhibition from September 27 to October 17, we present all artists spread throughout the city of Groningen. View the work of the other artists here.
