January 20 to February 15, 2024

Opening January 20, 5 pm

Coen Vunderink, painter
Coen Vunderink's paintings reflect his play with art history, chance, the figurative, the abstract and the technique of many centuries of painting. In his most recent series, he paints landscapes over old abstract paintings. Occasionally a fragment from his old work still appears somewhere. His landscapes are inspired by places where he likes to fish or hike. Nature, light, the reflection of water and silence become painting.

Coen Vunderink received his art training at Art Academy Minerva and De Ateliers. His work has been shown in galleries and museums at home and abroad. He was nominated three times for the Royal Prize for Free Painting. His work is included in several collections at home and abroad.

Henri Blommers, photographer
Henri Blommers is an experimental visual artist who combines digital and analog images with various techniques. In his latest work, he exposes his photographs, which show the incredible beauty of nature, to the danger that the plant world constantly faces. In the intermediate stages of the prints or directly on the negative, he uses salt, vinegar, fertilizer or glyphosate. His work raises the question of how we take nature so easily for granted.

Henri Blommers studied at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam and did several master classes and residencies. His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. He made it to the finals of the Lensculture Art Awards in 2023 and won the Denis Roussel Award for innovations in analog photography in 2022.

Tamar Yogev, ceramic artist
Tamar Yogev expresses her fascination with texture, color and patterns through various clay techniques. Food, especially vegetables, has always played an essential role in her life. In her ceramics, she explores the relationship between vegetables, art and human life. On her latest ceramic vases and objects, she applies natural textures with kitchen utensils. In this way, she makes nature come back into the interior.

Tamar Yogev graduated cum laude in 2019 from Art Academy Minerva, majoring in Product Design. Before that, she studied Textile Design at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv. She has exhibited frequently especially in the Netherlands, Italy and Israel.
