A Love Letter to my Beloved, in 6 Seconds

About this activity.

A Love Letter to my Beloved, in 6 seconds is a play starring the characters Time, Love, Life and Death. The four of them are having a 6-second long break, in which they come together for a dinner party. During this time no humans on Earth fall in love, die or are born – time stands still. The dinner party turns out to actually be an intervention and the moment Death shows up to the dinner with an unconscious human, chaos ensues. The play follows the ironically lively interactions of these four abstract concepts upon discussions of existence, overcoming and eventually moving forward.

This play is organized by the IK Theater Committee as part of the Study Association IK from the program Arts, Culture and Media at RUG. Written by our member Nancy Rumagit, this play is a project dear to our heart since it reflects on issues, topics and struggles of our generation.
