About this artwork.

"The artwork on top of the roof of the former Gamma faculty of the Hanzehogeschool depicts the two former educational functions of the building, namely service provision and communication. Two steel figures are connected in the shape of the Greek symbol gamma. This connection symbolises the service. The communication is expressed by the placement of the two figures. Because they are attached to a corner point on two sides of the flat roof, it seems as if the figures are talking to each other at a table shaped by the architecture. Due to the high and thin lines, the artwork is also clearly visible from afar and has a striking appearance.

Hans Mes created the sculpture in 2001, it was commissioned by the Hanzehogeschool"
